We frequently work in partnership with artists on trips who bring their skill and perspective as an added layer. We offer residencies to these practitioners for the week they are working with us.

Cuban Visual Art & its community

An opportunity to deeply connect with the visual arts of Havana and the creative community that creates it. The visual landscape here is rich and diverse. Walking through unmarked doors, up flights of stairs and into homes, galleries and studios, we touch a huge range of making and creative output. Complimented by incredible music, historical perspective, dialogue and and the art of food, this trip is a deep dive into creative energy and inspiration.

WRITING & WAKING UP TO PLACE

Dive into the wildly creative culture of Havana while learning a new approach to writing that helps you touch deeper into what you are experiencing and how you approach the everyday. Together with writing teacher Sarah Cyr, we will move through Havana blending prompted writing sessions and meditation with the cultural immersion and insider access. Guests will gather as a group each morning to write for two and a half hours based on promts and explore the cultural landscape of Havana in the afternoons and evenings.
